I love the zodiac. I’d always been interested in astrology, because of the way certain behaviors are examined and defined. I always thought it was kind of weird to tie behavior to individuals born in a specific time frame, but I meet people, find out their sign, and then I see those traits in them, and see them in others I know of that same sign. I don’t rely on daily horoscopes, I never read them. I’m just interested in the different zodiac personality traits. I think I very much fit the definition of the Scorpio, and I like that, too. I wouldn’t want to be any other sign, passionate, obsessive, mysterious, interested in the supernatural, powerful, some people are afraid of all that emotion, and I don’t blame them, but I still wouldn’t trade. And give up the mysteries of the supernatural? Never!
So I bought these zodiac charms, one day.
Fun, right? Dark and bronze-y. I thought for sure I’d know what to do with them when I got them, earrings or bookmarks, maybe anklets? But they were too heavy for earrings or anklets. So I put them away. Time would go by, I’d find them, think a while, put them back for later.
And then one day it hit me. Charm bracelets! With stars! And they came out great! Brass chain, glass and metal beads, all of the bracelets are 7″ long and extend to 8″ comfortably, priced $24, plus shipping.
I really like making charm bracelets, but I didn’t know how much I was going to love making these. It was wonderful! I’ve been focusing on the knotting so much lately, because I love that too. But the process of slowly building the bracelets, finding the right chain, beads, and charms is a fun and creative exercise. I think I’ll talk more about that next time. For now, you can see more pictures of these bracelets at Juicybeads Jewelry. This article at the Daily Dot Bazaar has a lot of information, if you’re interested, and it is interesting! Well, to me. And maybe you. Let me know what you think!
Til next time, jool lovers!
